NEWS / EVENTS October - 2009 San Francisco Bay Area President of the Morehouse College Alumni Association, David Roach, receives "OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD," for his efforts of Mo' Better Food.
EVENTS Date: December 26th, 2009 Event: Annual Historical Black College University mixer which will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran, 959 12th Street in West Oakland. This event is for alums, current HBCU students, prospective students and parents, as well as educators and mentors. more Date: January 18th, 2010 Event: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Help Construct the Mo' Better Food Educational Park / Farm Volunteers are needed from 9:00 am- 6:00 p.m. We will have a breakfast/meeting at 7:30 a.m. to discuss Dr. King's Educational Plan concept and the future plans of this site. more
