The version of an old story I recall takes place at the bed of a dying king/father surrounded by all of his children. He puts his arm in the air and opens up his hand and says, “like my fingers, separate, each of you can be broken.” He then closes his hand into a fist and says, “pull these fingers together into a fist no one can defeat you.”
This story had been told a thousand different ways. But the point applies to the Brotherhood of Morehouse. We are often proud to hear of one of our brothers achieving great things. Imagine if all these successes worked together globally. This is the idea of Morehouse. Dear Old Morehouse is our song!
Our unity is our passport to a greater future.
