My Brother’s Keeper Initiative

For President Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper Initiative, he challenged iMentor to expand. Their involvement in Saturday’s event and their agreeing to expand to the Bay Area is part of their keeping a promise to the president to reach 20k new high school students over the next 5 years… Will you be a part of it and connect yournetwork/organization/school/self to this effort?

If your school or network is not involved in making positive connection to students’ lives, how successful can you really be? Great mentorship is desired my many initiatives, but iMentor provides the structure to make this happen.

It takes more than slogans, good intentions, excellent teaching, and Common Core to get a kid through college.

There are still 23 spaces left for this Saturday’s summit. That could be 23 organizations or individuals who connect to the lives of young people in a positive way.

Register here. First come, first serve. It is ok to distribute the link within your network.
